I absolutely loved this certification. I learned so much about advertising online and found this certification extremely valuable. To become Google Ad Certificated, you must complete two tests. One has to be Google Ad Fundamentals and the second one can be any of the following: Search, Display, Mobile, Video, or Shopping. So you can choose depending on what you are interested in. Every time you complete a test, you get a badge showcasing that skill, which I found was super beneficial so that you can continue to grow and add to your certification. Google has a lot of resources to prepare you for the test. They have study guides and five-minute mini classes (usually 15 per course) you can take. The classes do involve some reading, but they are also interactive and you can take a small quiz at the end to check your knowledge of the subject. Before you take the test, you can take a practice test---this really helps show how the test will be set up and what areas you need to work on. The main test is 100 questions with a two hour time limit and you must pass with 80% or higher. It took me at least an hour in a half to complete, but I found it fairly easy. The second exam I took was Video, which is only 74 questions in 90 minutes with a passing score being 80% or higher. This one was more difficult than Fundamentals because it was a lot more in-depth. For both of the tests, I would recommend taking the mini classes and taking notes as you go. Then quickly review the study guides. Each test and studying took about 5-6 hours for me to complete."
